The Significance of Masnun Salat in Islamic Worship: Benefits, Rewards, and Hadiths

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,

"Verily, the first thing that a servant will be called to account for on the Day of Judgment from his deeds is his prayer.

If it is good, then he has succeeded and achieved.

And if it is defective, then he has failed and lost.

If something is lacking in his obligatory prayer,

Allah Almighty will say: "See if My servant has any voluntary prayers,

so that what was deficient in his obligatory prayers may be made up by it."

Then the rest of his deeds will be judged accordingly to that."

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) also said,

Whoever perseveres in performing twelve rak`ahs of optional prayers, a house will be built for him in Paradise.
