Stress or other mental health issues

There are several Quranic verses and Hadiths that address mental health. For example, one verse from the Quran states:

“Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” (13:28).

 Another verse says:

“Do not, then, either lose heart or grieve: for you shall surely gain the upper hand if you are true men of faith”(3:139).

A Hadith also states that
(ma anzala Allahu da’an illa anzala lahu shifa’an).
“There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its treatment” .
These verses and Hadiths remind us to have faith in Allah and to seek help through patience and prayer. They also emphasize the importance of taking care of our physical health and being mindful of our thoughts and actions.
The Quran has many verses that can provide comfort and guidance during difficult life circumstances. Here are some verses that may help you:
Al Inshirah (The expansion)
Have We not lifted up your heart,
and removed your burden
that weighed so heavily on your back, and
have We not given you high renown?
So, surely with every hardship there is ease;
surely, with every hardship there is ease.
So, when you are free, strive hard,
and to your Lord turn [all] your attention.

The Surah reminds us that with every difficulty comes ease, and that Allah does not burden us beyond our capacity.

“Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.” (Quran 2:286)

The worth of every person lies in their trial

Trials and difficulties are a natural part of life and a test of our faith.

“Do the people think that they will be left to say, ‘We believe’ and they will not be tried?” (Quran 29:2)

These verses remind us that with every difficulty comes ease, that Allah does not burden us beyond our capacity, and that trials and difficulties are a natural part of life and a test of our faith.
